Promoting Business Networking

A vibrant business community is at the heart of a prosperous economy, generating wealth and providing employment. A vibrant business sector is also an important part of the local community. BEP aims to provide a forum where the voice of the business community can be heard.

BEP organises the Bucks Business Leaders Network, which brings together key business leaders to discuss issues of importance for the Bucks economy. The network is organised through quarterly black-tie dinners with notable speakers in distinguished venues. Recent speakers have included Kate Barker, of the Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee and Sir Peter Gershon, who undertook the Government's recent Efficiency Review of the Public Sector.

Attendance at Business Leaders events is open all Directors and senior executives of Buckinghamshire businesses. A charge is made to cover costs (normally in the region of £50+VAT per head). Places are allocates on a first come-first served basis, according to the capacity of the venue.

Additionally, we have a limited number of places available in the Bucks Business Leaders Association (£275+VAT p.a.) which guarantees a place at the next four dinners, and reduces the burden of booking and paying for individual events.

To join the mailing list for Business Leaders or to join the Association, please email Lynne Cairns 01296 383805.

Forthcoming Business Leaders' Dinners include:

February 22nd in the Pavilion at Lane End Conference Centre where Economist Neil Parker from the Royal Bank of Scotland will be our Guest Speaker. The RBS will also be the event's sponsors.

On May 3rd we will be at Hartwell House, with Richard Tamayo, Commercial Director for the National House Building Council speaking to our guests.
